Evan's May Preschool Events

Sadly, May ended Evan's preschool years.  *Sniff*  Yes, Mommy was a little sad although she is very excited for his future endeavors in big school.  Plus, she is happy that she still has all of Brody's preschool years ahead of her and plans to enjoy them all.  Evan is really going to miss all the special friends he has made, but several of the kids will be going to the same elementary school with him in the fall so that helps a little.  May was such a fun month for him, and they had many special days.  I already wrote about the fun we had on his last school field trip to the strawberry patch.  Here are some more pictures about the other May events:

DRIVE-IN MOVIE DAY!
(This was part of a whole week of fun activities including a trike-a-thon, bling day, etc.  We hope his teacher will share some more pictures from this week.)

Evan's Daddy made him this cool race car in his favorite colors to "drive" to school.

Photobucket
He was so proud of his car.  No. 5 is the best!

Photobucket
"Eat my dust."  He had to have a tailpipe (which he thought was the engine).  I told him that's where his "smoke screen" comes out.  Haha!

Photobucket
Daddy even made straps so he could "wear" his car.  Flintstone powered!

MOTHER'S TEA

Photobucket
Found my special place at the table with this lovely placemat Evan made and a  beautiful flower centerpiece.

Photobucket
He drew a lovely portrait of me (he is not into drawing much) and got almost everything right about me.   Yes, I really was 11 when I had him...NOT!!!

Photobucket
Getting ready to sing some beautiful songs for us.  He had to stand next to his pal, Jonathan.

Photobucket
He was supposed to be singing to me, but he couldn't take his eyes off teacher.

Photobucket
Yummy strawberry shortcake he made me!

Photobucket
Can you tell he loved the strawberry shortcake?

A FUN BIRTHDAY PARTY AT MY GYM ON HIS LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

Photobucket
Sweet Ashlee's 5th birthday party at My Gym.

Evan enjoyed jumping on the trampoline with his pal, Julia.

Photobucket
Loving the ball pit.

Photobucket
Evan and his pal, Jack (one of the twins in his class), loved jumping into the balls.

Evan and his pal, Brendan (another of the twins)

He would be holding his favorite color ball.

Photobucket
Crazy happy face!

Photobucket
Sweet Ashlee enjoyed the attention of being sung to.

Photobucket
Brody enjoyed getting some free play too.

Photobucket
Someone else really likes the balls.

Photobucket
Brody in the ball pit...sounds like the start of a tongue twister.

Photobucket
I just love this picture of him in all those brightly colored balls. It just says fun childhood to me.

Photobucket
Hanging out with Dada during the party.

Photobucket
Evan got him in the headlock.

Photobucket
This was awesome.  They called it the log swing.

Photobucket
I'm not sure what this face was...looks a little scared.  He loved it though.

Photobucket
Strong baby rolling around a giant log.

Birthday girl blows out her candles.

So excited Evan gets to see all his pals tomorrow at a special double twin birthday party (yes, I did type double twin).  He has two sets of boy/girl twins in his class...and they have the same birthday.  Weird, huh?
