Many many years ago when I was blogging more, I enjoyed doing these posts on Mondays. It was a good way to recap our week and weekend memories while giving us a reason to be happy on a Monday. I was working full time back then and going to grad school at night so I needed some motivation to start my week. Now, I just thought it would be a fun way to recap some of our recent life events since I haven't updated in a while. We just got back from our beach vacation so we have lots to love.

Special day dates with my little man after his doctor appointments. He will be having ear surgery later this summer that should repair his hearing completely so he will no longer need his hearing aid. We are very excited for him.

Brody got Honor Roll all year thanks to a very sweet and caring young teacher who appreciated him.
Evan completed middle school. We got to attend one school event which was his end of year band concert.
He earned the notable accomplishment of SC Junior Scholar.
He also earned Principal's list for the year in his Honors and Gifted classes.
Mattox completed Kindergarten and received a special award for his kind heart. I am thankful for a very special bunch of teachers who all helped him build his confidence in talking. Hopefully after his ear surgery, we will see even more progress.

But Maggie loved it the most. She would have gone down by herself. I let her try once with Daddy waiting at the bottom, but she turned herself upside down. She is full blown two year old but the size of a one year old.
