The Hudson family has not really had a chance to get together since Great-Grandpa died in 2018. All of the grandchildren are so spread apart and stay so busy with so many great-grandchildren to care for. This family really exploded since the first great-grandchild, Evan, was born in 2007. Sadly, Evan could not attend the reunion because he was at the U.S. Naval Academy. We all enjoyed reminiscing about old times and catching up on new times. Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Hudson really influenced all of their children and grandchildren and taught them the importance of family. Blood is thicker than water, you know!

Hudson Family Reunion
Getting this large crew in one picture was no easy feat. Great-Grandpa and Grandma were smiling down from heaven, I know.
The Hudson Grandchildren minus one (Aaron).
The Hudson Great-Grandchildren, minus 3 (Evan, Luke & Lydia).
Just a little flashback to how these Hudson grandkids have grown over the years. This picture was taken shortly before Grandma Mattie passed away.
Rowena with her children
Rowena with her children and grandchildren (minus Evan)
Aunt Dava with her family
Aunt Homa is always so happy when she can get her family all together. They all live so far apart.
Uncle Matthew's wife and children
Uncle Matthew's whole big family
Aunt Homa's big family
These two cousins and best buds really missed one another. They are so much alike and both love gaming and wrestling.
Cousins Brody and Grady
Eddie and his cousin Marian. We don't get to see Marian very often because she live in New York with her family.
Me and cousin Jason. Jason is like a brother to Eddie and was in our wedding and there for some of our kids' births. He's a special dude.
He always loved teasing and making his younger cousin Cecilia laugh.
Maggie and her little cousin Abigail were like twins. They both have soft fine blondish red curls, petite little figures, and snaggle tooth little smiles.
Eddie and cousin David have a lot in common too.
Hudson is always a fun cousin to have around. He is a lot like our oldest son, Evan. He also changed his mind about going to a military academy and majored in engineering.
Me and Aunt Homa are kind of like mother and daughter. I have loved her since I first met her in the summer of 2000.
The girls...Naomi, me and Christy.
Eddie was entertaining the family with some of his many stories. He definitely got Great-Grandpa's gift of gab. Haha! I guess he should have been a preacher.

Our Favorite Google Collages
So Google has been making us some pretty sweet little memory collages, and I wanted a place to keep them. I think facial recognition software has come a long way so that Google can detect who is in each picture and groups them in neat ways. I am kind of glad our phones automatically back up to Google so these fun creations can be made. Years of photos for the blog helped too. Here are some of our favorites:
A collection of our family pictures since baby Grayson was born.
A collection of pictures of the kids together.
An assortment of recent memories of the youngest three kids.
An assortment of Maggie pictures from 35 weeks old to 3 years, including her first school portrait in which they gave her blue hair. Sigh.
More of our sweet Maggie.
A recent burst of photos I took of Maggie picking flowers outside her school.
A sweet collage of some special moments with our first son, Evan.
Our family when it was just 3 of us.
For Evan's recent birthday, Google made a special collage of Evan pictures with his Dad. Oh those boys are best friends!
A sweet collage of my oldest two boys.
A sweet collage of Brody.
And another one of Brody.
More special Brody moments.
A sweet collage of Mattox and Brody together.
| Another one of Brody and Mattox. |
Another kind of crazy one of Maggie.
A very special collage of Mommy and daughter. Oh how long have I waited to make memories like these?
Sometimes it repeats pictures with a few new additions.
A few more additions to the girls' pics.
This one highlights the very special father daughter bond these two share. She's definitely his mini me!
It detected all of these pictures of Mattox and Maggie together.
Precious "twins" 12 years apart. Oh how they love each other!
A little collage of our recent Fall excursions.
One to highlight our very precious first rainbow baby, Mattox. What a colorful addition he has been!
A sweet collage of our precious Grayson.
Another sweet collage of Grayson.
It made some sweet collages on Grayson's birthday.
More beautiful Grayson.
This one is supposed to highlight Grayson and Maggie.
