Another Liebster

My pal, Annabelle, nominated me for another Liebster, and since it has been a while and I have some new up and coming blogs that I follow and love, I thought I'd join the fun again and share the love.

Random Things (not sure I can think of 11)

1.  I am ready to be done with all things school related for a while.
2.  I am actually enjoying getting kicked in the stomach right now.  ;-)
3.  I am really tired of Facebook and other social media right now.
4.  I am excited to add some pink to the house soon.
5.  I am also a little scared about adding the pink.  I know boys, but I'm not sure about how to handle girls.
6.  When this pregnancy is over, I need to lose about 30 to 40 pounds and just need to get in shape.
7.  I love that blogging has given me the chance to "meet" some amazing people from all over the country and world.
8.  I hate that my house is in need of a major cleaning right now.  It gets the basic regular cleaning thanks to my wonderful husband mostly, but it just needs that good thorough top to bottom cleaning.  I am trying to decide whether to hire someone or wait until school is finished and try to do it myself.  Does anyone want to get me a housekeeper for a graduation present?
9.  I love Spring! It is my favorite season, and I just love seeing all the beautiful flowers in bloom and the sweet freshness in the air.
10.  I am not a sports fan, but I do love watching my son play. He'll make me a sports fan yet!
11.  I really hate coming up with things to say about myself.  ;-)


Questions Answered

1.  If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
Right here in my bed.  Pregnancy has taken its toll, and I just want to sleep and rest.  I know that isn't very exciting, and I do love to travel and go places.  I want to travel the world (London, Paris, Ireland, Italy, Greece, Israel, and Egypt are on my list of top spots to visit one day), but for now, I am enjoying family vacations with my young children.  Wouldn't mind taking them back to Disney World and definitely can't wait to get back to the beach!

2.  What would you do while you were there?
Home - I would rest and enjoy my kids.  On my Travels - I would see the sights and take lots of pictures.  If you have been here much, you know I love pictures!

3.  What's your favorite part of your day?
When I get home from work or school!

4.  If you could give a $1000 to someone who would you give it to? Why?
That's a tough one.  There are so many great charities out there, but it sometimes is a little hard to determine those where your money actually goes to the needs (a little disconcerting).  I trust my church who gives a lot to the world and community so I'd probably give there. 

5.  You're stranded on a desert island and all you have is an ipod with one song for entertainment. What song would you choose to listen to?
Haha!  This one's funny.  What song wouldn't drive me completely crazy after even a few repeats?  You know I'm a big 80's fan so probably my old favorite "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor to keep my spirits up. 

6.  What's your hobby? If you have one.
Well, I guess it used to be scrapbooking and reading for fun, but there hasn't been much time for that lately.  I guess it is now blogging (the current way I keep up with our family memories) and spending time with my kids. 

7.  Everyone needs time away. For example, Girls Night Out! What's your ideal girl time like?
Shopping...for me and my kids.

8.  Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate or Dark Chocolate?
Dark Chocolate although I love milk chocolate too.  I can eat white chocolate, but it is a little too sweet sometimes. 

9.  What has been your favorite vacation so far?
Probably our trip to Disney World because Evan was old enough to really enjoy it, but we really loved our trip to California a few years ago too. 

10.  Do you see yourself still blogging in five years?
Unless a better option for preserving family memories comes along. 

11.  If you could do one thing to pamper yourself for the day, what would you pick?
Getting a massage...definitely needed right now!
