Size: You will not got back to the pediatrician for another weight check until you are 6 months old. We suspect you weigh somewhere in the 15 lb. range and may be about 26 inches long. You still wear size 2 diapers although I suspect we will be moving up to 3 soon as you can really fill it up now. You can still wear most of your 3 to 6 month clothes and some 6 to 9 months for length.
Developmental Accomplishments: You are still very happy and love to be talked to and played with. You keep working on rolling over but don't really love it yet. You can sit on your own for a few seconds and with very minimal support for a lot longer. You have great neck control when sitting up. You started really playing with your toys more and grasping and holding onto things. You played on your playmat a lot and started using your exersaucer and enjoy playing with all the toys on it. You seem to prefer the penguin while big brother Brody always loved the pandas. I guess you both prefer black and white animals. You may have developed a little stranger anxiety this month and do prefer to be held by mommy, daddy, and big brothers. You also still like holding onto your blankie and putting it in your month or just holding it in your little hands.
Sleeping: You are still sleeping great at night. You usually go to bed by 9:30 or 10:00 (sometimes earlier) and sleep until I have to wake you up which is usually between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. just depending on how tired I am and when I really need to feed you.
Eating: You are doing great with eating and are still primarily breast fed. You still refuse to take a bottle, but I don't mind as long as you are getting plenty to eat. You are just always with me so it hasn't been a need to get you to take the bottle. You have been growing so well and progressing so well developmentally so we started some homemade baby food at the end of this month. Your first food was avocado, of course, and you loved it as much as big brother Brody and ate every last drop. We stick to the one food for three or four days routine to make sure you don't have any negative reactions but so far so good!
Nicknames: Grayson Payson (goes with Evan Pevin, Brody Pody, and Mattox Pattox), Gray Pay, Gray Gray, Baby Goo (because he is just a little gooey sweet mess)
