38 Weeks!
Well, we have made it to 38 weeks, and you can imagine we are getting anxious and excited to meet this little guy! Mommy is especially ready. This weekend, she was in nesting mode and washed all of Baby's new clothes and things and washed the carseat cover that was Evan's. She also had to venture on one more little shopping trip to the baby store for a few little things. Now, Daddy just has to install the car seat bases and set up the pack 'n play downstairs for when we bring baby home. She also packed the diaper bag for the hospital but hasn't packed her bag yet. We had a busy weekend with more t-ball and playing outside, and Sunday, Mommy made the boys go for a walk with her. When she went to her appointment on Thursday of last week, she was slightly disappointed that she hadn't progressed any toward delivery...although she had expected as much. This whole pregnancy she has expected that she will need a little help to progress into labor as she did with Evan, and she has tried to repeatedly let her physicians know of this concern. This week she will have an ultrasound to check the baby's size, position, and progress and then she will meet with the doctor she has seen the most regularly through this pregnancy. Hopefully, they can make some decisions about what to do if labor does not begin spontaneously. With the end of semester approaching and exams right around the corner, Mommy would like for Brody to get here. Sadly, she has also seemed to come down with another bad cold that is not helping boost her morale!
Brody,
Please come out soon. We all want to meet you so bad and will have so much fun when you get here! We are about as ready as we can be now. We love you with all our hearts!
Love,
Mommy, Daddy & Big Brother
