June 2025

June is always a full month and seems to go too fast, and this one was no exception. Summer slow down now please! 

We started the month with lots of pool time and hot dog and watermelon picnics on the deck, 

VBS and learning to Magnify 🔎 the Lord, 

graduation road trips to Miami and Key West,

The moms anxiously waiting for our boys to get home from their trip.

We also had a fun day celebrating two of the greatest dads. I had a great little team of chefs helping prepare daddy a special breakfast before church. The kids all wrote sweet messages on cards to dad and Papa, and we enjoyed Sunday lunch together. We are so thankful for these wonderful godly men in our lives! I love you and thank you for sharing all of these crazy awesome parenting adventures, Eddie. You are the best baby daddy ever!

celebrating our 22nd anniversary

Google made this little comparison collage of us from one of our first married years to the present.  So many memories have been made in those 22 years. 

Sunshine and sunflowers, 

Miss Maggie has done so much growing since her first summer in 2019. 

Mommy saw this patch of sunflowers growing beside the road in our hometown and wanted some pictures with the kids on Mattie's birthday.  We kind of had a sunflower theme. 

and ending the month with a special birthday celebration for our precious Mattie Claire who would have been 12 years old.  I can't believe that much time has passed as I remember every moment like it was yesterday.  I consider that both a blessing and a curse sometimes, but I wouldn't forget her for anything in the world.  She gave us the gift of her three precious younger siblings, and we will all get to be together again one day.  We love you so much, Mattie Claire!
