TIGER WOODS'S AUTOGRAPH!
So we spent the day at the annual Quail Hollow PGA tournament, and it was a fabulous day for some golf! The course was beautiful, and the weather was perfect. Eddie had gone to the Pro-Am (where Professional golfers are paired with well-known amateurs and play for charities) last year and knew that it was the best day to attend. On the actual tournament days, it is very strict and no cameras are allowed. At the Pro-Am, you are allowed to take pictures and can get autographs of the players. There were several very well-known celebs out enjoying a day on the greens, including MICHAEL JORDAN and DAN MARINO! But as you can already tell, the highlight of our day was when we got TIGER WOODS's autograph! Trust me, it is harder than it sounds, but he really was so sweet and nice to us, and we felt so honored to meet such a great athlete! We don't judge him for anything that he has done in his personal life because that is not our job, but he is without a doubt a great golfer!
Enjoy the pictures from this fabulous day:

Play Date Sunday
Last Sunday was a beautiful day, and Evan had so much fun playing outside. After church, we had our usual Sunday lunch out with Uncle Paul's family, and then, the kids wanted to play outside and spend time together since they had not seen each other since Evan's birthday party. Uncle Paul, Aunt Jessica, Emma, Lanny, and Reade all came over to play in Evan's backyard. We all enjoyed the sunshine!
After a short nap, we were heading over to see Sherry's cousin (3rd but who's counting) whose family recently moved back to the area from Raleigh. They have a beautiful home in Union County just below and to the east of Mecklenburg County, and we enjoyed a wonderful meal with a great family. Sherry and her cousin, Erin, had both grown up in the Goldsboro area but on opposite ends. They really did not even know each other until the summer before Sherry was to begin her first year of high school at C.B. Aycock. In an effort to try to get involved in an athletic sport, she attended a tennis camp at the school. After the first day, she hadn't really attained much skill, but she did make a friend. When she told her mom about her friend, her mom said, "Oh, that's your cousin." Haha! Erin and Sherry's moms are 1st cousins. They attended different high schools and didn't see each other until several years later. After we had been married a while, we were in the market for some furniture for our first home and stopped by a local furniture store in the small town of Fremont close to Sherry's parents' home. Low and behold, Erin's parents owned the store and hooked us up with some nice pieces. Later, Sherry ran into Erin and her mom at a store in Goldsboro, and then, Sherry and Erin became friends on the infamous Facebook to keep in touch better. Erin and her husband, Mark, also have an adorable son so we were excited to introduce our kids.
Here are some of the pictures from this fun Spring day:

Reade the explorer.
Oops, he thought he would go for a swim!
Reade prepares to go down the big slide!
Uncle Paul had been a little lazy at the beach and grew a beard! It's gone now, but don't you think he should have kept it? ;-)
Evan meets cousin Brent!
What a sweet boy! Look at those gorgeous eyes!
Playing with Brent's remote control car!
Brent shows Evan his 4-wheeler.
Brent's face was so cute here. He wanted to show me his Tag Jr.
Sweet smiles from both these cuties!
Score...well he would have if he would have let go of the ball, but he knew if he did, Evan was gonna snatch it up! Haha!
