Maggie's 3rd Frozen Birthday

What kind of birthday party do you have for a three year old princess who has been obsessed with Frozen or "Let It Go" as she calls it and whose birthday is also in January?  Yep, we had to make her a Frozen wonderland complete with a magical ice castle and her favorite princesses and their snowman friend.  I think she approved.

Our beautiful princess with her friends, Anna and Elsa.

Our dream come true princess.

Mommy's attempt at a Frozen cake with a cutout castle and some figurines for her to keep.

I think she approved of mommy's attempts.

We love our girl!

Miss Maggie has a lot of men to protect her.

Mattox loves singing Happy Birthday.

And helping her blow out her candle.

Not too sure about cutting into her cake and messing it up.

Brody is always a positive critic.

Daddy's girl

Present time!

So excited about her big present.

Her very own princess castle.  This one was on my list years ago as a present for her big sister, Mattie, so I am thankful we could get it for Maggie.

Even the boys like the princess castle. Ha!

2021 in Review

Our yearly calendar summary of 2021:

January

We enjoyed getting to experience Maggie's first snow in Asheville, NC at the Biltmore.

February

We had a nice little Valentine's celebration at home.

March

We celebrated Evan's 14th birthday and Mattox's 6th birthday with a trip to the Children's museum in Columbia.  The giant kid behind them is named Eddie, and he was wearing his giant face mask.

April

We celebrated Easter and Brody's 10th birthday.

May

These babies always make me feel loved for Mother's Day.

June

We enjoyed our summer vacation in June when we also celebrated Father's Day, our Anniversary, and Mattie's 8th birthday.

July

We celebrated Independence Day at the lake and also at a baseball game.

August

These kids all went back to school.  We had a 9th grade Freshman, a 5th grader in his last year of elementary school, a first grader, a pre-kindergartner, and a little toddler who wanted to go to school.

September

We celebrated Mom's birthday with a trip home to NC to visit family and friends.  We saw Papa and visited Seymour Johnson Air Force Base and visited our favorite park in Raleigh to ride the train and carousel.

October

We enjoyed lots of Fall fun in October picking out pumpkins, visiting the farm, and dressing up as a Frozen family for Halloween.

November

We enjoyed seeing some beautiful places in the Fall on the North Carolina Blue Ridge Parkway and in the mountains of South Carolina.

December

We enjoyed our second Christmas living in our new home and celebrating Grayson's 5th birthday.
