Maggie's 3rd Month ~ Baby Smiles

Maggie's 3rd month was marked by some easier picture taking sessions that even resulted in some of our first baby smiles caught on camera.  She played lots of dress up and celebrated her first Easter.  She was quickly losing a lot of her delicate newborn baby qualities and starting to show her true personality.  It was so fun watching her come alive.

She learned to pout and stick her little lips out when she doesn't get her way.

She learned that big brother Grayson is her favorite, and the feeling is mutual.

She learned to love pink, pearls, flowers, and tutus.  Well, Mommy is teaching her anyway.

Pretty in pink.  Future ballerina.

She also learned that Mommy takes a lot of pictures.

She learned that Mommy likes to play dress up.

The sweetest face

Those little hands and sweet feet in lacy socks are a dream come true.

Big brother likes to steal the camera.

Pretty in yellow. Daddy loved her in yellow.

Starting to show some smiles and more expressions.

Her eyes were opening bigger and brighter.

Looking more and more like big brother Evan.

Getting cuter every day.

Her personality starting to shine.

A little smile!

When I see these pictures, I don't want to remember just how she looked but how super soft and cuddly she felt in this gown.  This gifted gown was the most buttery soft fabric ever.  I wanted her to wear it all the time.

But she also was not loving the photo session and needed her paci.  She didn't actually take a paci very often so this was rare.

She usually required our finger holding the paci in her mouth as she sucked.

Of course, I had to do a special bunny picture for her first Easter.  I had found some cute little crocheted shorts with a bunny tail and a cute little hat with bunny ears before she was even born.

Uh oh, someone is not a happy bunny.  Her temper was definitely coming out too.

Look at that little tail!

Sweet baby bunny

"Yay, the hand came back to hold my paci!"

For this session, her blanket made her happy.  I loved this sweet little outfit in pastels with bunny appliques on it.

So sweet and feminine.

Mad baby girl did not love being put down.  She did sleep well though.  We still used her sleep apnea machine this month, but she never had an incident.

Pretty baby in the tub.

Playing on the changing table.

I definitely want to hug the princess.
I did not take enough pictures of her in the Little Sister shirt.  It was a pretty teal color with silver writing and a little bow on it.  Maggie enjoyed sleeping in her bassinet in mommy and daddy's room.

We got her name sign painted and hung above her crib.  I had ordered it the week before she arrived, and it came the week after.  It just took a few months to get around to painting it.

Grayson and Mattox love being the big brothers.

Sweet as a daisy.

But mad as a hornet.

This little one piece outfit was very comfortable and sweet with a fish on the tushy.

Maggie had an outing to big brother's soccer game.

Sweet sleeping baby.

Just a classic black and white picture that really shows her beautiful little face and features.
