Spring 2008 ~ He's walking!

Spring 2008 brought so many new and exciting changes for Evan! At just under 13 months, Evan started walking! He is such a generous baby so he waited until Mommy and Daddy could both witness his first steps! Of course, Mommy and Daddy did not have a camera ready, but they took lots of pictures later. We were actually at Chick-fil-a where they have an outdoor play area that has a little toddler-sized slide. Evan just decided to get himself to the slide in the fastest manner possible! We were so excited that a little girl's mommy that we were talking to asked if these were his first steps. We told her they were his first independent steps since Evan had been making plenty of steps since before he was 9 months old! He had just refused to let go! To celebrate, we took Evan to a fun place called Monkey Joe's that is filled with giant, inflatable play zones. He enjoyed it much more than he had before he was walking!
