I can't believe this is a post about our "THIRD" Easter with Evan! Time really flies when you are blogging about your life!
This Easter was again wonderful as we continued our wonderful traditions. We went home to Eddie's Mama's church for an Easter egg hunt and dyed Easter eggs at Evan's great-grandpa's. He was definitely more independent at egg hunting, but he still needed Grandma's help to find the "prize" egg. He really enjoyed the sweet treats this year, and Aunt 'Omi outdid herself with her overflowing basket of Easter goodies!
EGG HUNTING
I thought this picture of the cross surrounded by pastel and brightly colored eggs was just so full of meaning! Traditions are wonderful, but we cannot forget the true meaning of Easter!
So Evan was the youngest kid in the hunt and the big kids let him have a few seconds head start!
He found one!
He really just wanted to eat his candy!
Evan wanted candy, but Mommy wanted her own little sweet treat!
Is his face not the cutest?
Mommy & Aunt 'Omi help Evan count his eggs!
He just wanted to get all the candy out!
Fun with Grandma & Aunt 'Omi!
Oh my gosh...and who will eat all this candy, Aunt 'Omi?
And this big "cavity stick" too?
How sweet...he gives it to his Daddy!
Daddy and Evan dye Easter eggs!
Grandma helps Evan peel his first "real" egg! He didn't really eat any though!
EASTER PICTURES
So we continued our tradition of taking our own family Easter pictures this year in our Easter clothes. There were definitely more Spring colors this year, but we loved these beautiful azaleas in Uncle Paul and Aunt Jessica's new yard!
Digging in his Easter basket!
He found some candy!
A sweet Mommy & son picture!
We are a happy couple!
So much love here!
He had enough kissing!
Daddy & Evan are best buds!
They make my heart melt!
Our beautiful family portrait!
