What I'm Loving June - Part 1 {2022}

Summer really got kicked off in June once the kids finished their school year.  The month of June was full of so much fun that it will require more than one post to show all that we were loving.  Here is what we loved doing the first half of June:

These kiddos enjoyed practicing their swimming skills.

On the last day of school, we celebrated with Mexican for lunch, and the kids love this little arcade room at the local restaurant.

Cute little cow girl!

Fun playing arcade games.

Playing sharks and minnows with Daddy.  Daddy was the shark of course.

The shark caught Brody.

Brothers sharing the float.

Showing off our chocolate ice cream beards.

Sleepy time.

Big brother Evan heads off to a week of cadet leadership training camp at the Citadel.

Just off the bus at the Citadel in Charleston.

Saying goodbye to Daddy who rode along as a chaperone.

All of the cadets got sorted into their flights.  Evan was in Golf.

Marching in the graduation ceremony with his flight which was awarded the distinguished award of Honor Flight for the week.  They scored the highest on all their tests, physical and academic.

These kids enjoyed seeing the cool sights around the Citadel which is a prestigious private military college.

Evan graduated from his first cadet leadership camp and may go again as a leader.

Very proud of my almost grown man.

Proud Daddy

I am also very proud of our newest resident artist Mattox and his rendering of the Citadel after visiting.

Brody enjoyed visiting the famous pineapple fountain even in the rain.

A rainy walk to the pineapple fountain after lunch downtown.

Flat hair after getting drenched.

Cute Mattox wanted to put his feet in the fountain.  It is really fun on a warm day.

Hanging out with Papa in his new place.

Sweet, silly girl.

Pool time with my babies.

Handsome Brody

Daddy loves to get Mattox's tickles as he fights a losing battle not to smile and laugh.

Sweet Grayson loves getting his head wet.

I do love this baby boy!

Papa made the road trip to Charlotte with us to eat lunch at Pei Wei after a doctor's appointment.

My fortune was nice.  "Nothing is impossible."

We drove by the old homeplace, and I was happy to see my blue front door had not been changed.  I gave the front door a little make over by painting the door, sidelights, and even spray painting the old hardware.  Apparently, my paint job has held up well the last 10 years.  The house has been through two owners since then too.

Miss Maggie loves her Chick-fil-a ice cream.

These kids love their pool.

Pizza lunch by the pool.

Just hanging out in the pool with my precious babies.

Grayson wanted to make a splash for the camera.

Sunday lunch with Papa.

Mattox got to spend some of his summer with his special speech therapist at school.

Cute American girl styling in her bikini.

Big brother finally got to join in the pool fun.

Miss Maggie has been working on her full ponytail which is still a work in progress.

Girl time by the pool.

One of the cutest conversations I overheard by the boys on one of our summer car trips.
