This year, we took our family pictures in our little town with some beautiful azaleas that have been blooming splendidly this season. Has anyone else noticed how the flowering trees and shrubs seem to be blooming extra this year? The Dogwood trees in our area have been exceptional this year. Of course, with five kids it is always tricky to get everyone to cooperate so there were many outtakes. Usually, at least one child was not cooperating. Mattox does not like bright sunlight in his eyes and kept wanting to cover his face with his hands. Then, Grayson decided to have a little meltdown. We persevered and got these special pictures.
Mattox covering his face from the sun. Yes, he has transition lenses, but the sun was apparently bothering him from the sides.
Trying to tickle Mattox to get his hands down.
And it got worse.
Maggie loves her Grayson.
We finally moved Mattox to a better spot for him.
Grayson did not want to be happy for pictures with Mom.
Not much better with Dad.
But Daddy can always get his giggles.
Have to get a shot of just the girls.
Mommy and her beautiful girl.
Daddy's girl
Yep, she loves him the best.
She's her daddy's mini me.
She's also her big brother Evan's twin.
My cute red haired babies.
And they adore one another! I say Maggie is our insurance that Evan will come home to see us from college.
She trust him completely.
So happy!
Our handsome 15 year old man.
Our handsome almost 11 year old.
Silly boy.
But still so pretty.
And the sweetest boy.
This handsome boy is turning into quite a character. He always has jokes and tricks to play.
He didn't want to smile for his pictures.
But still so pretty.
Our beautiful 5 year old Grayson who is learning to handle his big boy emotions.
This kid has a big personality!
This little lady was ready for her close up.
She wanted to pick her own flower.
Beautiful Miss Magnolia
The two responsible for this crew.
22 years together. Whew, what a ride!
I had to include our sweet 8 year old girl Mattie with us. This represents our true family!

ReplyDeleteHi, Piper! I know most of my old blog friends have left this forum. I am so glad you found me again. With a renaming of the blog, I think I lost a lot of people. I really miss your sweet encouragement and prayers. I hope you are well!
