Introducing A Rainbow

After many months of waiting and praying, our hearts and home have welcomed a sweet little bundle of joy.  We know his sweet big sister, Mattie, has been watching over him from heaven and is rejoicing with us.  Mattie, our hearts still miss you more than ever, but we are so thankful to have the opportunity to know and love this little miracle.  Until we all are finally together, we want to continue to remember you and make you a part of our family.  I cannot share your brother with the world without also remembering and sharing you because you are so much a part of who he is and who we are now as a family.  We love you, our beautiful baby girl!  And now, we have another little one to love.  Here he is!

Born:  March 3, 2015 at 12:43 a.m.

Weight:  6 lbs. 13 oz.

Height:  20 inches

I hope to be able to fully document his birth story soon which did take a little longer than planned, but with lots of moving activities planned for this weekend after we are released from the hospital, it may take me a little longer to get it all down.  For now, we are just trying to get all the cuddling and snuggling time we can with this little sweetheart.

Sent when our hope was low

As a sign of God's unfailing love.

As we anxiously awaited your arrival

and for your safety we prayed,

we learned to trust God for your survival

and upon Him our cares were laid.

Your first cries brought so much joy

and our hearts were overflowing again

As we welcomed another cute little boy

as a blessing after the rain.

You are such a sweet reward.

Oh how we love you so!
