Preschool Fun in January

It looks like Brody and his class had a lot of fun in January.  I can definitely tell that Brody learned a lot about snow and cold weather.  They pretended to play in the snow (which I suspect helped prepare him for the real deal which we have since experienced), had "snowball" fights, ice skated, and pretended to be snowmen that melted away in puddles on the ground when the sun came out.  They also had some yummy treats, including ice cream blizzards and hot chocolate.  They enjoyed reading stories like "The Mitten" and "The Three Little Kittens" and then acting them out.  They also learned the nursery rhyme "Humpty Dumpty."

I presume the paper plates were their ice skates.  On a funny note, Brody has been wearing many pairs of jeans that were his brother's.  He is now getting into the size where big brother started wearing holes in the right knee of the pants.  Daddy bought patches for some of the jeans, and Brody thinks the jeans have boo boos and have a band aid.  He likes to point out the boo boo on his pants with a sad look on his face.  Ha!

  4. I think it's great that you get all these pictures of him at school. It really helps to keep parents involved and knowing what is going on with their kids. Looks like a really fun month.
