Evan's Last T-Ball Game and a Trophy

To say Evan loves his trophies is an understatement.  I guess it is a requirement for boys to have a few trophies in their possession.  Evan already has the beginnings of a great collection including a trophy from soccer, basketball, and now two from t-ball.  He also has a medal from his very first soccer experience.  Just last week, he did tennis lessons with his cousins and is determined he is going to be a tennis player too.  Ha!  This kid loves anything involving a ball.  The week after we returned from our vacation to Disney World, Evan had his last two games for t-ball (he missed a few games while we were gone though).  The whole team had been advancing and performing so well that the coaches decided to let them try their hands at coach pitched.  Evan was ecstatic because he actually hits the ball better when it is pitched to him.  We wrapped up a fabulous season and are looking forward to many more years on the ball fields as we advance to coach pitch, machine pitch, and even player pitch.

I think he looks so cute and determined running.

He's going to smack that one.

Another great hit.

He made it to first.  His name on his helmet makes it so much easier to spot him.  A little boy on the opposite team actually had his name on his helmet, and his name was Evan too!

Thumbs up to Mommy.

He insisted on wearing the shades.

Evan was so happy to be eating pizza and hanging out with his buddies.

The coaches prepare to give out the trophies.  We were out on a shaded patio so my camera wasn't cooperating in this lighting.

Evan loved his newest trophy complete with a little baseball.

And it just isn't a celebration without cake!
