Brody's second month has been so fun as we figured out how to make this little guy smile and laugh. Mommy finally got some giggles this past Friday when he was exactly 8 weeks old. Nothing compares to that sound! It really isn't too hard to make this happy baby smile either. He loves to be talked to and will smile when you laugh and smile at him. So sweet! He is also "ticklish" on his tummy and cheeks. Mommy can do itsy bitsy spider up his tummy, and he will break into a big grin! He is also trying to grow up way too fast. He has been sleeping through the night since he was barely a month old going to bed by 9:00 or 9:30 and sleeping until around 5:30. He wakes up to eat and get his diaper changed and goes back to sleep for a couple more hours. We know we are so lucky, and we just love this happy baby to pieces. Mommy and Daddy both think he is smiling earlier than Evan did. Evan was kind of a serious baby until he was almost four months old and then he went straight to laughing and hasn't stopped since! Brody seems to really like his big brother and isn't even bothered when big brother gets too close to his face or wants to hug him a little too tight. They are definitely beginning a friendship that will last a lifetime!

Some Daddy time as he gets a bottle. He has been a great eater, and Mommy has started giving him a bottle a day of formula to get him ready for Mommy's return to work. She wants to continue nursing, but she wants to make sure he is getting enough too. Next month, we may graduate up to two bottles. He wants and needs to eat more during the day since he sleeps all night, and Mommy has a hard time keeping up with him sometimes.
